Chip and Joanna Gaines Released a Preview Trailer for Magnolia Network
Chip and Joanna Gaines know how to stir up some major excitement. Last week, The Gaineses debuted a preview of their upcoming Magnolia Network, including clips from the first ten of their original series. And the pair also dropped the news that audiences can stream an “exclusive preview” months ahead of Magnolia Network’s debut.
“We’re sharing fun news!” the official Magnolia Facebook page announced on December 2. “Before Magnolia Network officially launches next year, you’ll be able to stream an exclusive preview on #discoveryplus (coming January 4).”Those who sign up for Discovery+, the new streaming service that will host a variety of different shows from Discovery branded networks like HGTV, FoodNetwork, History, and Lifetime will be able to watch brand new episodes of the “Fixer Upper” reboot, titled “Fixer Upper: Welcome Home”, as well as “Magnolia Table with Joanna Gaines”.
The Discovery+ preview will also allow audiences to watch the first episodes from all ten of Magnolia Network’s upcoming original series including “Home on the Road” and “The Lost Kitchen“.
Due to the coronavirus pandemic, the launch of the Magnolia Network has been pushed back by several months. It was originally going to debut in October of this year, but as Chip and Joanna said in an April statement, “We’ve decided to delay Magnolia Network’s launch until we can safely resume production,” stating that “it’s important that we all continue to look out for one another by upholding the guidelines set forth by the experts, leaders and front-line heroes working tirelessly to get us all through this difficult time.”
In the meantime, the Gaineses have been keeping their fans entertained over on Instagram with video conference calls of them catching up with the stars of Magnolia shows to see how they’re faring during the pandemic.
Though we’ll all have to stay patient for a few more months, this preview proves that our patience will definitely pay off.
