If you’re like me, your feet are always the coldest part of your body. Whether it’s due to an AC that’s been cranked up too high in the summer or frigid winter weather, keeping my lower extremities warm is a year-round task. While a great pair of fuzzy socks or the perfect slippers can do the trick (we’re particularly fond of these temperature-regulating slippers for year-round use), there are other ways to ensure your feet stay warm — namely, buying a rug, but not just any rug, the softest rugs you can find.

The price is unbeatable at under $40 for a 5’x7’ size, and the low pile feels shockingly comfy underfoot, according to one AT editor: “This is quite literally one of the softest rugs I have ever stepped foot on. In fact, I’d compare it to walking on a velvet cloud; it’s an absolute dream.” The best part, though, is that you can toss it in the wash for easy upkeep!
