Tell us a little (or a lot) about your home and the people who live there: I am an interior designer who focuses on e-design. I assist people with their home projects remotely, and since I don’t physically do the styling in my client’s homes, I am constantly moving things around in my own house, trying new things.
Holiday decorating is an absolute joy in our home. It’s an activity that forces us to slow down (in part due to the sheer amount of decorations I’ve hoarded over the years, haha). Pulling out all the memories — some handed down to us and others thrifted — reminds us of where we have been and who we are. Even the vintage decorations hold a certain magic to them that begs one to wonder who must have cherished them years past.
Describe your home’s style in 5 words or less: Colorful, Bold, Moody, Layered, Storied
What is your favorite room and why? My kitchen and dining room. We just renovated this room, and it feels so moody and warm now. We love it so much we decided to put our Christmas tree in the dining room! It makes for some cozy, romantic dinners at home.
What’s the last thing you bought (or found!) for your home? The mural in my dining room from Hygge and West!
Any advice for creating a home you love? If you are looking for unique holiday decor, look no further than vintage. You will find some of the most unique items at a steal!
