One of the home items I’ve recently decided to invest in is bath towels. After learning that some towels are made with polyester, I’ve been on a quiet mission to be more mindful of what I bring into my home and invest in all-natural materials like cotton, instead of polyester. So when I happened to scroll past a TikTok showing that Costco’s Purely Indulgent 100% cotton bath towels were marked down to just $5, I took it as a sign I needed to upgrade.

What To Know About Costco’s $5 Towels

Spotted by creator @Jayandveronica on TikTok, the viral video shows Costco’s Purely Indulgent White Bath Towels (30” x 58”) priced at just $5. The creator  says, “what a great deal” in the caption, and I must say, that’s not an exaggeration.

The Purely Indulgent towels are listed on Costco’s website as part of a set for $40. Made from Hygrocotton, a 100% cotton fiber that’s loved for its quick absorbency and faster drying time. So if you’re lucky to find them in your nearest Costco for $5, it’s a no-brainer purchase.

A Luxe Alternative: Pottery Barn’s Hydrocotton Quick-Dry Towels

Since this deal may not be in every Costco, Pottery Barn has a beautiful alternative worth considering — their Hydrocotton Quick-Dry Towel. It’s made from 100% organic cotton and is OEKO-TEX® certified, which means it’s tested for harmful substances. Though the bath towel is priced at $34.50, the quality is worth investing in. Pottery Barn also has 100% organic cotton hand towels, washcloths, and towel sets. Some of their items are even on clearance for as low as $10.99.

Whether you’re swapping out old towels or stocking up for your guest bathroom, these picks are soft, absorbent, and luxurious. Trust me, your guests will be asking you, “Where did you get your towels from?” and,”Wow, they’re so soft.” Don’t wait to grab them, you deserve to have a luxurious experience in your bathroom.
