Costco Fans Are Going Wild for These $30 Faux Florals: “They Feel So Natural”
Faux flowers can really be hit or miss. Some of them look as though you’ve just picked them from the garden, while a majority of them look, well, fake. But Costco just rolled out faux hydrangeas that look real, feel real, and might actually trick your brain into thinking it’s summer already.
Why Shoppers Love Costco’s Hydrangea Arrangement
“Costco has the most realistic faux hydrangeas I have ever seen,” Laura from Costco Hot Finds said in a recent Instagram video. “They look real and they feel so natural, too. Even the vase and water look amazing. I love hydrangeas so much, so I couldn’t pass these up.”
The faux hydrangea arrangements are made in both blue and white hues (perfect for any neutral room!), and each bouquet comes in a clear glass vase with faux water to really sell the illusion. They’re made by the brand Nearly Natural, and each arrangement is just under $30.
According to the Nearly Natural listing, these lifelike hydrangea blooms can be manipulated and shaped to your liking. Just zhuzh the petals and bend some of the stems outward to give it a naturally fluffy look.
“I bought three of these last year in pink for my bedroom and bathroom,” one person commented on Laura’s post. “The cashier thought they were real also. When I was walking around with them in my cart everyone was asking if they were real.”
And someone else added, “I have the pink ones from last year and I love them!! I need the white ones now.”
You can still shop these pink hydrangeas via Costco’s website; they’re also priced at $39.99 and come in the same vase. The varied pink blooms look so real, you’ll continue to be tempted to smell them.
If you’re not a Costco member, Nearly Natural arrangements are also sold at The Home Depot at a similar price point. This version features cream-colored blooms in a teardrop-shaped vase. And the reviews say that the quality of these flowers is excellent, plus: “A lot cheaper than buying fresh flowers regularly,” as one shopper shared.
Pick up one of these super-realistic faux hydrangea arrangements and give your home a touch of warmth despite it being the dead of winter. They’re just so gorgeous and are a great way to give your home a lively refresh in the new year!
