Costco Is Selling a $17 “Too Cute” Find That Welcomes Halloween a Little Early
Summer may have just started, but some people are already thinking ahead to fall — the heat is just too much to handle. Thankfully, Costco got the message and rolled out a set of new accent rugs that are perfect for the cooler weather and spooky season. They’re just $17 each and the one with ghosts on it has major virality potential.
“Is it too soon?” Laura from Costco Hot Finds said in a recent video. “I just spotted these autumn- and Halloween-themed accent rugs at Costco. The quality feels so good on the stitching and the colors are vibrant.”
“I had to grab this one because it’s just too cute,” Laura said about the ghost rug. Doesn’t it kind of remind you of the ghost rug from TJ Maxx that went viral back in 2021? And, of course, people were quick to express their excitement. “IT’S NEVER TOO SOON,” one person commented on Laura’s post. Another said, “Too soon? Yes! Will I buy it? Also yes!”
Costco Is Selling the Cutest Halloween Rugs Right Now
The rugs feature a fun variety of themes. One of them features two orange pumpkins, another is decorated with autumn-colored florals (perfect for that “summerween season”), another has a black lab with pumpkins, and there’s also one with three happy little ghosts on it.
The creator behind the Costco Empties account noted that the rugs feature a memory foam interior, making them extremely comfortable to walk on. Plus, the nonslip backing ensures that you can place them anywhere, and they’ll stay put no matter how high traffic the area is.
It appears that these rugs may be an in-store exclusive, but if you’re not a Costco member or if your store is already out of stock, this door mat from Wayfair offers a very similar vibe to the ghost rug Laura picked up in her post. Bonus: It’s currently on sale and features the little ghost design in two striking colors.
It’s never too soon to start thinking about and decorating for fall and Halloween. It’s the best season of the year, after all!
