I’m Obsessed with This “Beautiful” Cold-Weather Gem from Costco (So Cozy!)
Even as temperatures drop throughout winter, you can ensure it’s bonfire weather all year round with the right equipment. Whether you’re cooking up some s’mores during a summer night or beating the fall chill with a cozy fire, a big fire pit can instantly become a backyard or patio centerpiece while also serving as a gathering point for any outdoor party. In a market where many options are small, flimsy, and don’t give off enough heat, a gorgeous huge fire pit at Costco caught my eye — and it looks so much more expensive than it is.
For only $299.99 in warehouse stores, the Flamepro Patina Gas Fire Pit “is a great price,” as one shopper noted in a video showing off the gorgeous new Costco find. This fire pit looks like it costs hundreds of dollars more, thanks to its large size (it’s 24 inches high and measures 32 inches in diameter), the amber fire glass, and its sturdy build.
According to an Instagram video from @CostcoHotFinds, which shows off the product’s packaging, the smokeless fire pit is made out of powder-coated steel with a sleek gray patina finish.
The creator pointed out that the fire pit can heat up to 65,000 BTU with a standard 20-pound propane tank (about 6.5 hours of burn time), making it hot enough to warm up a group of people on your deck or patio during an evening party. The body of the fire pit also hides a sleek compartment where you can subtly store the propane tank inside.
Several people commented on the “beautiful” design, with one happy buyer confirming that they “just purchased and love it.” It’s unknown whether Costco has sold this model before, but several TikTok creators also shared videos of them unboxing and putting together a similar gray fire pit with amber fire glass earlier this year.
Unfortunately, the $299.99 price tag is only for fire pits found in warehouses. The same model is selling for $419.99 (including shipping and handling) on Costco’s website. If you don’t have a Costco membership, you can sign up and get a $20 Costco gift card.
The rave reviews may convince you to do so — multiple customers confirmed that they were extremely happy with the design. One person wrote that it “works great” and has a “very easy setup,” while another commented on the “fabulous fire,” writing that “it’s appealing to look at, has a unique flame system, and puts out heat!”
Considering similar designs are going for a couple hundred dollars more, it might be worth it to keep an eye out at your local warehouse or even pay a little bit more online to ensure you have this fire pit to warm up your outdoor space in the new year.
