Costco’s Latest “Worth Every Bite” Treat Is Flying Off Shelves (Just in Time for Girl Scout Cookie Season!)
‘Tis the season for Girl Scout Cookies. Whether you’re a fan of Lemonades, Peanut Butter Sandwiches, or Adventurefuls, the Girl Scouts are prepared with boxes of your favorite treats ready for your pantry. However, Thin Mints seem to be a universal crowd-pleaser — and likely the first to sell out. Fortunately, Costco just brought back a new dessert that will bring on your Thin Mints nostalgia, just in case you can’t snag a box of the real cookies this year.
As spotted by @costcobuys on Instagram, the bulk retailer is selling Thin Mints Bites, complete with a crispy center, a layer of mint, and a coating of rich dark chocolate. The 20-ounce bag is retailing for $12.49.
Commenters on the post were excited to see these back in stock for another year, claiming that they are “so good” and “delicious.” Some even mentioned that their own local Costcos are also selling these in other Girl Scout Cookie flavors like Caramel deLites, also known as Samoas. Instead of a minty interior, you’ll get a layer of coconut and caramel coating around that crunchy core.
If you’re looking for something sweet to complement your spread next time you host, whether that’s the Super Bowl, Galentine’s Day, or just a standard dinner party, these would be perfect to lay out in a bowl for guests. We guarantee this treat will be gone by the end of the evening. Or, you can also throw these in the freezer to snack on when you need a sweet bite. (You’ll thank me later.)
Because these tend to come and go at Costco, you may want to grab a bag while you can. While they may restock eventually, there’s no telling when that may be.
