One look at its facade — painted black with twinkle lights stretching to the very tip of its triangle roof — is enough to absolutely adore this A-frame home for sale in Southern California. Its petite patio, enclose by a wooden fenced adorned with pine tree cutouts, is pretty sweet at second glance. You can cup a mug of coffee with both hands and sway lazily on the porch swing, or slip into a swimsuit and warm up in the hot tub out back.

Through sliding glass doors, you can slip into the home. And if you fall in love with the furnishings, you’re in luck — almost all of them are included in the sale. The owners wanted to design an abode that felt “masculine, sexy, and cozy” while still “paying homage to the great outdoors.” They did that by draping leather seating with faux fur throws, using open shelving to maintain a cabin-like look, and installing new wood floors. Wood paneled walls and black ceiling supports all throughout give the home a modern lodge vibe.

In the kitchen, quartz counters, matte black hardware, a sleek Galanz fridge, and a boho rattan light fixture create a cook space that feels just as cozy and mood-lit as the rest of the home. Up the spiral staircase is a loft bedroom that, if I lived here, I would simply not leave all winter long. A faux fur rug, chaise reading chair, Edison bulb lights, and a clear view out the giant ceiling-height windows round out the room as a cozy refuge.

I am positive that I would read 1,000 books in this twinkle-lit loft bedroom.

Rattan light fixtures and leather furnishings bridge the casual California and rustic cabin looks.

A second bedroom lives in the ground floor with easy access to the great outdoors.

The kitchen features stylish appliances, open shelving, and lots of mood lighting.
