Tell us a little (or a lot) about your home and the people who live there: My husband and I purchased the triplex and rent out two of the apartments while living in one ourselves. It is a pre-war build and has lots of cute features.

The space is small, so we knew we would have to maximize the space. Even though it is just my husband and me, we also have four pets (two dogs and two cats). But I am a big believer that small spaces do not have to lack character — and shouldn’t!

Describe your home’s style in 5 words or less: Eclectic Mid-Century Modern

What is your favorite room and why? My favorite room is the bedroom because it has a cut out that fits my vintage vanity perfectly! I was able to wallpaper the nook and give it some added character. It is the best way to get dressed in the morning — I feel like a Hollywood starlet!

Any advice for creating a home you love? Choose items that make you feel something. Don’t be as concerned about what matches and goes together. I find that people in general love items in a certain theme anyway. Besides, no one wants a completely matching space. It’s just not as interesting.
