Macy’s is an American staple, known for the Thanksgiving Day Parade, killer Black Friday deals, and its wide selection of clothes and furniture. But did you know the store also carries home decor? They stock countless big-name brands — and at reasonable prices, too.

I remember my local Macy’s as a place to buy scarves and socks for my friends around the holidays, and the occasional kitchen appliance for my mom, but online, the store has a wide range of home decor items in stock. And as we head toward Black Friday, I wouldn’t miss Macy’s deals on decor this year. From throw blankets to candles, even furniture, whatever you’re looking for, they probably have it (and on sale, too!).

So I tapped two experts with fabulous taste — Philadelphia-based designer Michelle Gage and Isy Jackson of Chelt Interiors — and asked them what deals they’d be shopping for with a budget of just $50. And you’ll be surprised by the gems they found! Here’s what these designers will be adding to their carts at Macy’s this Black Friday.

Designer Michelle Gage’s Picks

“The end of the year is the perfect time to freshen up your living and sleep spaces with some cozy throws and pillows,” says Gage. “I’d recommend adding soft textures and unique block prints.” The gorgeous blue tones in this pillow feel delightfully seasonal, yet perfect year-round, too.

A new mug is always a good idea. “Add a ceramic mug to the mix for an extra cup of hot cocoa,” Gage says. And she loves this green perlemor design from legendary brand Villeroy & Boch. Pick one up for yourself, and another for a friend — this pick would make a great gift, too.

Designer Isy Jackson’s Picks

Juicy Couture Velvet Cheetah Decorative Pillow
$55$22

Jackson makes a statement with her first pick: this glamorous Juicy Couture velvet cheetah pillow. "Animal print is a timeless neutral in my world. It adds an instant touch of personality, while the velvet brings that soft, tactile layer every room craves,” she explains. “It's the kind of detail that sparks conversation and adds a little wink of glamour without trying too hard."

Nicole Miller Tangerine & Macadamia Candle
$32$12

This Tangerine & Macadamia candle is Jackson’s must-have seasonal find. "It has this beautifully rounded, sophisticated aroma — tangerine zest, grapefruit neroli, and macadamia that feels warm, inviting, and quietly luxurious," she explains. "The rich red vessel adds a festive visual note, making it ideal for the holiday season."

Godinger Lighting by Design Triumph 2-Piece Candlestick Set
$30$12

"These pieces shimmer with that refined Art Nouveau elegance, and adding even one small crystal element instantly elevates a space," Jackson says of her last pick. She says any cut crystal piece from Godinger's Serenade collection is guaranteed to add a touch of “vintage-inspired charm” to your space.
