Once upon a time, we could see most of Walt Disney World in a day. But these days, thanks to the shopping, endless gourmet food options, and countless activities (adult princess makeover, anyone?) we could spend weeks there and barely scratch the surface of all the magic the parks and attractions have to offer. Disney knows there’s a ton to see and do, so to make sure you have time to see and do it all, they’re instituting “Extra” Extra Magic Hours this fall.

What are “Extra” Extra Magic Hours, and how can you take advantage of them? They’re early morning, uninterrupted blocks of time that you can explore and enjoy Disney World without the general public. “Extra” Extra Magic Hours are a perk that’s only available to guests staying at a Disney Resort hotel or one of these select hotels, so the parks will be a lot less crowded than normal. Shorter lines, fewer people—basically, it’s like having your own private playground.

Here are the details: From September 1st until November 2nd, certain Disney World theme parks and attractions will open early just for guests so you can make the most of your vacation. Set your alarm, because the fun starts early. Disney’s Hollywood Studios—which includes the new Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge and Toy Story Land—will be open from 6 a.m. until 9 a.m. Disney’s Animal Kingdom theme park will be open from 7 a.m. until 8 a.m. And the Magic Kingdom park will be open from 7 a.m. until 8 a.m. Yep—they’ll open super early every. Single. Day.

We can’t think of a better way to start our morning than by taking the first ride of the day on Space Mountain and taking a selfie in front of Cinderella’s Castle as the sun rises. Book your fall trip now to take advantage of the park’s “Extra” Extra Magic Hours.
