East Fork Just Dropped Two Gorgeous, Bold Colors That Are Totally Going to Sell Out
As the summer comes to a close, maybe you’re craving moodier colors and cozier finishes. One easy place to embrace this shift in palette and texture is on your tabletop. And to that I’d say, start your search for new pieces with East Fork.
The Asheville-based purveyor of pottery just brought back its popular Wine Dark Sea and Big Sky colorways as new additions for the fall/winter season, which has me thinking 2024 just might be the year of ruby red shades (with a touch of light blue thrown in for good measure).
You’ll find these two shades available across many of East Fork’s core items, including mugs, platters, cups, plates, bowls, and more. Wine Dark Sea is an appropriately named magenta that has dimension in spades; much like the ocean, you can get a little bit lost in its depth and richness while staring at it. As for Big Sky, there’s something almost sprightly about this periwinkle, and the hue feels not only fresh for fall, but also something that can transition well into winter and beyond. Even better, both play nicely with staple East Fork neutrals like Morel (shown above as a dinner plate), Panna Cotta, and Eggshell.
Want to make a big splash with these shades? Invest in a full set of dinner plates that you can layer in with your other East Fork pieces or just regular plain white china.
Or if you’ve yet to hold The Mug in your hands, maybe now’s the time to treat yourself to one? Between its weight and the comfort of the handle — did I mention the velvety smoothness of the glaze? — it’s an experience I honestly have no notes for, at least as far as morning coffee rituals go.
Rounding out the Fall/Winter assortment, you find a handful of other entertaining essentials. I personally love the way the Marbled Linen Napkins and Marbled Linen Tablecloth in Rose complement the Wine Dark Sea and Big Sky pieces, and the exclusive Glass Colorblock Serving Spoon Set couldn’t be cuter. These finishes will be available online at eastfork.com and in-store at retail locations in Asheville and Atlanta from now through next February. Grab something before it’s gone and have fun playing with these unique but still festive shades.
