Buddy the Elf Would Approve of This Over-the-Top Holiday Suite

“Elf” is one of the most loved movies to watch around this time of the year. It’s hilarious and full of cheer, and there are fewer things that can get you in the holiday spirit (and give you a serious sugar craving). If you’re familiar with the film, you know that Buddy loves everything that’s over the top: excessive amounts of decor, cookies, gifts, and of course spaghetti with all the sugary fixings. That’s why this “Elf”-themed suite is bound to be attractive to those who find Buddy to be a kindred spirit (and no, you don’t have to be into the spaghetti thing).

Club Wyndham in NYC is offering this suite, and it’s more than ready for holiday celebrations. Designed with Buddy in mind, this space is meant to deliver every bit of festive cheer that your heart desires. Decorations like popcorn garland and paper snowflakes hang from the ceiling, and one wall is fully covered with stacked presents wrapped to the nines. A life-sized toy soldier stands in the corner, across the way from a fully decorated Christmas tree (the bedroom and bathroom are just as festive, FYI).

Inside the kitchen, guests will find savory and sugary treats to recreate Buddy’s famous spaghetti meal: marshmallows, chocolate sauce, Pop-Tarts, rolls of cookie dough, M&Ms, liters of soda, and of course, the spaghetti. Even though creativity is encouraged, avoiding a mess would be greatly appreciated.

Some other things to note about the “Elf”-inspired package: the suite is available December 2-26, with rates starting at $399 per night. Guests who book will also receive four tickets to go inside the Empire State Building as well as glide on the Rockefeller Center ice-skating rink.
