Allow us to pose a question that should yield a chorus of emphatic yeses: Who wants to embark upon an all-expenses paid, eco-friendly Hawaiian expedition?

Clean energy company Vivint Solar is in search of someone to take part in its “Eco-Adventure Challenge,” an excursion to Maui that comes with a $4,000 stipend for transportation, lodging and entertainment plus an additional $2,000 as payment.

It’s exactly what it sounds like: Get paid to gallivant all over the wonderful Hawaiian Island. The only caveat is that everything you partake in must be environmentally friendly as a way to show that vacationing and going green can co-exist without sacrificing an ounce of fun and relaxation.

The eco-traveler Vivint Solar has in mind for this experience will have “passion for the environment and spreading more awareness about eco-friendly traveling, as well as a keen aptitude for details to capture his or her experience in words and photos.”

Specifically, applicants must be over the age of 18 and authorized to work in the US. Also, before you pack your bags and sunscreen and wait to receive a ticket and cash, you must submit ideas of how to incorporate video and photos into the awareness campaign.

Additionally, you need to have some sort of clue about how to make this trip completely green, so if you’re kind of at a loss, then consider looking into some green living tips to get the wheels turning because the lucky travel enthusiast will have to book environmentally friendly accommodations, which could mean staying at a shipping container hotel rather than a popular, larger chain. Finally, you need to be active on social media—after all, you’ll be expected to document and research the entire process from start to finish, not only to make your friends and followers envious, but to share the possibilities and advantages of eco-conscious living. (Having such a lush locale as Maui definitely doesn’t hurt the cause!)

Stop by Vivint’s site to apply from now until November 18. May the greenest applicant win!
