If Belle from “Beauty and the Beast” were to live in our modern times, she’d be all over this charming treehouse. About 300 miles south of Paris is this incredible treehouse rental, just an hour outside the historical, charming town Brive-la-Gaillarde. The treehouse is the most idyllic escape that will make you feel like you’re hiding away from reality.

The house sleeps four, complete with two bedrooms: one with a queen-sized bed and the other with two twins. The rooms are furnished with ethereal white linens and natural wood elements and plants, echoing the external woods. A wood-burning stove in the main room makes for a cozy, warm addition when temperatures drop—and complimentary slippers add an extra touch of fancy for chilly nights. A full bathroom with floating air plants and a walk-in shower—plus toiletries and towels—round out the comforts that make this charming place feel like home (or better).

Outside, guests will find a balcony with a table and chairs plus lounge chairs meant for stargazing and napping in pure relaxation. Enjoy a glass of wine or the complimentary breakfast baskets each morning. Oh, and don’t forget about the luxurious hot tub outside, too, where glampers can soak after swimming, hiking, playing tennis or even mountain biking, all available for guests. Up the ante on your fairy tale relaxation with massage or reflexology appointments.

Nearby Medieval villages of Saint Cirq and Montpezat are for exploring, with historic attractions like boat tours and Musée Rignault. Toulouse and Brive-la-Gaillarde are also close, each with quaint restaurants and shops, stunning destinations, and picturesque architecture that will truly make you feel like you’re in a French tale.

For about $350 a night, this glamping vacation could be yours. Just be mindful that kids are welcome to join on your stay but pets are not.
