I love having fresh flowers in my apartment. The vibrant colors make my space feel more homey and put-together. It’s an expensive habit to keep up with, though, and the fact that the flowers start to wilt within a few days is truly a thorn in my side. I was scrolling through Anthropologie when I found this Paper Pop-Up Bouquet Set by FreshCut Paper, and I think it might be the perfect alternative. It’s practically decor!

On top of being visually stunning, the FreshCut Paper set will outlive my overpriced bouquets. It’s also $15, which is surprisingly affordable for Anthro (and way cheaper than most floral arrangements). I’m already thinking about ordering a few to send as Mother’s Day gifts. Here’s why.

What Is the FreshCut Paper Pop-Up Bouquet Set?

Everything in the Pop-Up Bouquet Set, from petals and stems to the included vase, is made out of paper. It starts flat and pops up to the size of a real flower arrangement, making it a sculptural home decor piece and a smart way to send flowers to a long-distance loved one. The set includes a bouquet, a vase, a blank note card, and a large mailing envelope to contain it all. The only thing you need to add is postage.

Anthro carries six spring-ready varieties: Orchid Oasis, French Poppies, Festive Tulips, Lemon Tree, Strawberry Blossom, and Japanese Cherry Blossom — and yes, they’re all gorgeous.

What Anthropologie Shoppers Are Saying

“Absolutely gorgeous, we have given two of these away. The recipients loved them, and they were displayed. It’s a sturdy, large, vibrant, dimensional card.” —Annie

“Bought this for a friend’s b-day. She was thrilled with it. Love the fact it’s unusual, plus it has the added bonus of not wilting or needing to be watered.” —Lullahgirl

“I bought this for a couple of my coworkers as a small thank-you gift, along with something else. I was very happy with it. I’ve never seen anything like it, and I wanted to give them something that wasn’t too expensive but that they would enjoy and would show that I put a little thought into their gift. I think I did that successfully with this! It is really cute. My 11-year-old son even thought so.” — evieluvsajd

“I ordered this card for my mom. I’d been eyeing it for a while, and it was out of stock when I first wanted to purchase it. I was so surprised when I opened it, and it was practically life-size. The illustration is beautiful, and the colors are vivid. I know my mom will be so surprised when she receives this card for her birthday.” —Dogmom678
