If you’ve ever dreamed of sharing a slice of cheesecake with your closest pals in everyone’s favorite Miami kitchen, now you can. Opening next month in Beverly Hills is the Golden Girls Kitchen, a pop-up experience inspired by the beloved sitcom, and fans will get a chance to enjoy Sophia’s famous lasagna — along, of course, with some cheesecake for dessert.

The pop-up’s exact location and opening date is TBD, but the description promises a hefty dose of nostalgia and plenty of delicious items to eat in this unique immersive experience. Each ticket will cost $50, and menu items include Sophia’s lasagna (in either meat or vegan options), The Dorothy: A Miami Style Sandwich, Blanche’s Georgia Style Cookies, Rose on Rose, and, most importantly, cheesecake. In true Petrillo fashion, your meal will be served by a lovable Shady Pines server.

Tickets aren’t on sale just yet, but fans can sign up now for the waitlist to score tickets ahead of the general public, along with following the experience on Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and Twitter for every update along the way. So far, there’s no news on how long it will remain open or if it will travel to other cities, but tickets are sure to sell out quickly, so heed Rose Nylund’s advice: “You can lead a herring to water, but you have to walk really fast or he’ll die.”

This isn’t the first time the iconic sitcom has gotten the restaurant treatment. Back in 2017, a Golden Girls-themed café opened by a close friend of Rue McClanahan’s (aka Blanche Devereaux), but it shuttered after less than a year. If you simply can’t get enough of all things “Golden Girls,” you can also set sail on the Golden Girls cruise, which first set sail in 2020 and will hit the high seas again in April 2023. As for now… Picture it: Beverly Hills, July 2022. Here’s hoping there will be plenty of glückenflügen for the occasion.
