Gustaf Westman, the Swedish designer responsible for Instagram’s infamouscurvy mirror, has created another must-have item. But this time, it’s for the kitchen.

Last October, Westman teased the Chunky Plate and Chunky Cup in a TikTok, and he even shared the behind-the-scenes process of hand-blowing a Chunky Vase. Ranging from 30 euros to 65 euros, his tableware brings a playful addition to your morning cup of coffee and breakfast. If his craftsmanship isn’t enough to convince you, the aesthetic of his made-to-order products is taking over TikTok.

In a video shared by interior decorator Dani Klarić, she credited Westman for “changing the design game” while unboxing four of the bubblegum pink plates.

Among other unboxing videos, TikTok user Tariro Makoni deemed the items as “Gen-Z china,” and it’s hard to disagree with that label when you glance at other decor trends, such as curved furniture and Scandinavian maximalism.

Over the holidays, Westman set up an extravagant dining table for Christmas dinner with The Chunky Cup and Chunky Plate, further proving that they’d fit perfectly for your next dinner party. Available in yellow, purple, light blue, pink, red, cream, and brown, the colorful tableware complements any dining table alongside a sharp charcuterie board setup.

Beyond his taste in creating serveware, Westman has filled his home with his own vibrant products. In a recent video tour, the designer’s other curvy contraptions like the Curvy Desk and Curly Lamp Mini can be found. Similar to a comment left on Westman’s house tour, the home ironically looks like a fun playhouse with its abundance of shapes and colors.

If you’re a fan of maximalist homeware and decor, Westman’s chunky serveware is a perfect addition to your kitchen.
