Target’s $50 Rattan Accent Lamp Could Easily Pass as a Vintage Find
When Studio McGee’s recent collection with Target’s Threshold brand was released in stores, there was a single lamp that stole the show. It’s a mid-century modern-inspired ceramic light that has been sold out almost since its debut, and yeah, it’s stunning! However, there’s a new lamp from the Hearth & Hand with Magnolia Target collection that is likely going to turn heads similarly. It looks just as expensive as the Studio McGee piece, but this one is crafted from woven rattan, and the positive reviews are already rolling in.
What Is the Hearth & Hand With Magnolia Rattan Lamp?
The lamp is called the Rattan Accent Lamp, and it features beautifully crafted woven rattan from shade to base with brass accents. It stands just 10 inches tall and comes with an LED light bulb so you can start using it immediately. The light also has three different lighting settings and is touch-activated.
Why I Love It
“I’m very big into little things,” Joanna Gaines said in a recent video shared to Target’s Instagram. She shared a few of her favorite tiny finds from her latest collection, including this “little lamp” that Gaines just “loves.” People were also quick to express their delight about the lamp.
“This rattan table lamp is just perfect for my office desk,” one Target shopper wrote in their review. “I love how cozy and warm it makes my office space feel … Another great thing about this lamp is how well made it is. You can definitely tell that this lamp was built to last. It is very sturdy and durable, and doesn’t wobble at all.”
And someone else said, “I almost passed this one up because it’s not our usual style, but I’m glad I didn’t. It’s small and intuitive, and my 4-year-old son loves it so much it’s now his lamp. He loves to play with the different settings and move it around his playroom. This lamp would also work great in an entryway, guest room, or office. Love that you only have to tap to turn it on and make it brighter (and so does my son).”
If you can’t get your hands on the Target lamp, this rattan fixture from Crate & Barrel gives off a super similar vibe to the one from Joanna Gaines’ Target collection, except this one is a lot larger, standing at 25 inches tall. It also has a mushroom-shaped shade and a cylinder base with burnished brass accents. But because this one is so much taller, it has a price tag of nearly $300.
Like the Studio McGee ceramic lamp, I have a feeling this woven one from Hearth & Hand with Magnolia may sell out fast as soon as it hits social media. So if you love it, grab it! Otherwise, you may be out of luck sooner than you thought.
