If there’s one thing I can’t forget about the 2010s, it’s the absolute chokehold that millennial pink had on the design world. The soft, dusty pink color was everywhere in modern aesthetics through 2020. And although the hue has been on the back burner for more than a few years now, Hilary Duff is giving us a reason to love it all over again.

The Lizzie McGuire star has a pair of millennial pink chairs in her living room that look straight out of 2016 (in the best way possible). Duff posted a video to Instagram ahead of her Luck …Or Something album release party in Los Angeles this month, and two velvet chairs in a sitting room appear in a sneak peek of the background of the star’s home. They’re circular mid-century-inspired accent chairs upholstered in a perfect shade of pink that anyone following trends in the mid-2010s will instantly recognize.

Millennial Pink Is Poised to Make a Comeback

If you’ve never stopped loving the dusty pink shade, then you might be lusting over Duff’s accent chairs. And you wouldn’t be the only one: Design pros are increasingly tapping into muted pastels in their color palettes (a trend that some refer to as “frosted” colors).

Luckily you can find similar pieces easily from Wayfair. This velvet accent chair from Everly Quinn is a similar modern barrel shape and features brass mid-century-style legs similar to Duff’s, and the dusty pink color is nearly an exact match. They also come in a lighter pink shade, which is currently out of stock, but you can be notified if and when it returns.

But if you love the cutout profile of Duff’s specific chairs, then this set of accent chairs made by Latitude Run may be a better fit. They don’t come in a millennial pink finish, but the peachy orange shade is a fun alternative. They also come in green, gray, and beige.

Hilary Duff is releasing music again, and millennial pink is creeping back en vogue. The nostalgia is real, and we’re so ready to lean in!
