Let’s face it: Quality plant pots can sometimes be expensive (these Costco planters were almost $100). But it doesn’t necessarily have to be that way. A HomeGoods shopper recently spotted antique-inspired planters at her local store. Although they look like they cost hundreds of dollars, the priciest one was actually below $60. If you’re wanting to give your yard a fresh look this spring, keep reading.

“Absolutely in love with them. Gorgeous,” user Hunter Houser said in a TikTok video about a planter she bought at HomeGoods. “This was $59.99, and the smaller version was $34.99. I am absolutely in love with these.”

Houser also picked up a pair of terracotta pots that are a bit smaller but feature a similar white-washed, antique finish that gives them a charming weathered look. “So, so pretty,” Houser said. “I love these because they kind of give me Tuscan vibes. These were $25.”

Similar Planters Sell for Over Triple the Price

After doing a quick web search, I found similar (and smaller) planters, which also feature that limewash finish and textured detailing, cost over triple the amount of these HomeGoods pots. In fact, it’s hard to find similarly sized planters with this much detail at a similar price point at all. But luckily, Wayfair has a planter that fits the bill, if you can’t hit up your local HG for whatever reason.

The Wayfair pot is simpler than the planters Houser found, but the chippy finish is right on the money, and so is the $56 price tag. You can grab it in two sizes, and it can be used both indoors and outdoors.

Want another alternative? This planter from Lowe’s may be made of recycled plastic, but it has a clay-and-concrete look that also gives it a more expensive vibe. This one is priced at only $30.

If you already have planters at home and want to give them a DIY limewash treatment, you can do so with just three items. But, if you’re looking for a readymade styling solution, I recommend heading to HomeGoods to see if these planters are in stock so you can grab one before they’re gone. At prices thes low, they’re definitely not going to last on shelves for long!
