House of Noa is popular for its play, bath, and kitchen mats, all of which feature cushy support and cute patterns. And today, the lifestyle brand is expanding its offerings with its first-ever soft furniture collection, a stylish, mix-and-match modular line that’s perfect for small spaces and modern interiors.

Though designed with small children in mind, the line is sophisticated enough for any home or room, thanks to the pieces’ trendy low-slung profiles and gently curved silhouettes. The hero item has to be the modular seats (and sets of armrests) that can stand on their own as chairs or be placed side by side to build out a mini- or mega-sofa (or play fort!). Two sizes of ottomans and an oblong coffee table round out the collection, in addition to two styles of pillows: lumbar and ball-shaped cushions.

“At House of Noa, we’ve always believed that comfort, style, and functionality should go hand in hand, especially for modern families,” says CEO Miriam Sender in a press release about the launch. “Our Soft Furniture Collection embodies that philosophy — offering a versatile modular design and mix-and-match patterns that adapt to new uses with ease.”

About those patterns? I’m loving what’s available at launch, which is around 30 colors and prints total, ranging from linen weaves to bouclés. The classic cabana stripes could work with just about any design aesthetic, though the ivory and brown skinny line pattern, in particular, is giving strong Memphis vibes.

If you’re more of a cottagecore or English country fan, choose a floral that comes in several softer colors or any of the rich solids, which include a pretty moss and teddy brown shade. You can also go super bold with graphic zebra and checkerboard patterns. Everything is meant to be combined together for a true maximalist look (though you could stick with one or two colorways for a far more minimalist statement).

No matter what pattern or color you choose, all of the covers are machine-washable and easy-care. So you don’t have to worry about spills or stains — or kicking your feet up on these pieces. You can even purchase washable liners for extra protection of the Greenguard certified-pieces’ nontoxic foam cores.

The collection is available for order now, though certain styles won’t ship out until May. And when it comes to cost, the whole assortment is pretty reasonable.

Prices start at $39 for a pillow and range up to $279 for a seat. That means a small-space friendly “sofa” of two chairs and a pair of armrests would only set you back $630. That combo would be equally cute in a playroom or first apartment — don’t you think?
