I don’t know if was the amazing and bright light, the warm materials or the sensation of being next to the Mediterranean sea, but this place completely stole my heart.

Alicia, is an amazing photographer and her work is full of light, amazing stories and beautiful color. Her love for design is palpable in all the places of her home. The materials, color tones and light really create the perfect place for a getaway; the whole home works in harmony with a relaxed way of living.

This anything-but-ordinary beach house is all that Alicia wants: a place where she can work, relax or just have fun making some dinner on the terrace with friends.

Apartment Therapy Survey:

My Style: Eclectic, modern and cozy.

Inspiration: Pinterest is super inspirational. But also travels, interior design magazines…

Favorite Element: The wall that separates the kitchen from the living room which gives the space lots of light and space.

Biggest Challenge: Choosing the pictures and illustrations with the right frames and in the perfect order for the living room.

What Friends Say: It’s so calm, relaxed and cozy.

Biggest Embarrassment: The bathroom is not really my style and deserves a remodel.

Biggest Indulgence: Sit on the terrace with a good book to read or listen to the music in the record player.

Best Advice: Always a neutral base with color in the little details.

Dream Sources: Natura Casa; it’s one of my favorites. Dusen Dusen.
