Designing a home collection with a best friend sounds like a total dream — lots of creativity, a little bit of chaos, and the once-a-life-time opportunity to bring the very products you can’t find anywhere else into existence. That’s not my reality, but for actor Laura Harrier and designer Tiffany Howell of Night Palm, today marks the day their design synergy gets solidified in an exclusive Crate & Barrel collaboration that references their shared love of vintage cinema and glamorous fashion.

What Is the Howell x Harrier for Crate & Barrel Collection?

After collaborating on Harrier’s house six years ago and becoming genuine design BFFs, it only seemed natural for Harrier and Howell to team up on a collection. The 87-piece assortment spans over the categories of furniture, lighting, textiles, and decor — and it’s evocative of a Hollywood Regency meets European moodiness vibe, with just a little bit of the ’20s and ’70s thrown in for good measure.

These items will bring the drama to any room, whether it’s the sexy, smoky tobacco, cream, and copper palette shared by pieces like the Evening Muse Floor Lamp and the Portal Full Length Wall Mirror. Or the showstopping and totally unique silhouettes, like the round Arlo Burl Wood & Brass Gloss Lacquer Bar Cart or the Mystic Chaise Lounge.

“The thoughtfulness in each piece really mattered to us,” said Tiffany Howell and Laura Harrier in a press release about the collection. “The shape, the line, the way it all comes together. This felt like a shared language more than a collaboration, translating our love of vintage fashion into furniture and objects, creating the kind of treasures we’re always searching for.”

Though the upholstered furniture is honestly perfect — a wide-wale corduroy bed trimmed in burl wood, club chairs with oak inlay, an asymmetrical cozy sofa that’s gorgeous from all angles — the case goods and tables are special, too. The Laurent Burl Wood Dining Table is a splurge, but it looks like it costs three times what it’s priced. And the Cinema Vanity (shown just above) would be the most stylish addition to a bedroom or oversized closet.

It’s safe to say I’m most in love with the lighting, though. The Waltz Chandelier looks like something you’d find at the Paris flea market, with just enough Hollywood edge, thanks to its smoky blush glass and ginkgo leaf forms. And don’t get me started on the Skye Glass Pendant Light, which features handblown milk glass and a burnished brass frame. That’s the type of piece you’d wish you’d inherit when buying an older home, say, from the ’20s or ’30s, that’s almost impossible to find nowadays where you wouldn’t have to rewire.

The smalls and entertaining pieces in this assortment are impressive, too. They touch on so many trends for the table: shells, silver, and the three-part serving dish silhouette Apartment Therapy covered back in 2024.

Pieces are available for order online now, and some of the larger items will ship come May. Prices start at just $19.95 for some of the barware and range up to the thousands for the most unique, larger furniture items.

What to Shop from the Howell x Harrier for Crate & Barrel Collection

Let’s be real: I want just about everything from this collection, but here’s what really caught my attention. Don’t sleep on this assortment because I can see things selling out quickly.

Soft Focus Organic Cotton Velvet Throw Pillow
$92

If your sofa or bed could use a little pillow refresh, consider these velvet cushions. The sizing is substantial for the price, and I love the clover green colorway in this organic cotton fabric.

Salon 101" Sofa by Laura Harrier and Tiffany Howell
$2,199

Available in versatile velvet in three earthy-meets-glam shades, the Salon Sofa brings such grace to the traditional kidney bean silhouette. At 101 inches wide, it’s also pretty big for the cost.

$2,199 at Crate & Barrel
Shell Picks with Holder by Laura Harrier & Tiffany Howell
$40

These cute shell-embellished picks are already in my shopping cart. I’d leave them out on my kitchen counter and use them for serving olives, cheese cubes — you name it.

$40 at Crate & Barrel
Waltz Chandelier Light by Laura Harrier and Tiffany Howell
$1,699

Colored glass has been all the rage in chandeliers, and though the Waltz skews glam, I could also see this really working in a fancier Craftsman setting because of the ginko leaf motif.

$1,699 at Crate & Barrel
Romeo 3-Part Server by Laura Harrier & Tiffany Howell
$50

This three-part server would be a great housewarming gift. Even better if you fill it with nuts, olives, or candies, so it can be immediately set down on a coffee table and enjoyed.

$50 at Crate & Barrel
Arlo Burl Wood & Brass 34" Gloss Lacquer Bar Cabinet by Laura Harrier & Tiffany Howell
$4,999

What can I say about this bar cabinet? She’s style, she’s grace, right down to the burl wood trim, mirror, and stylish round shape. I truly haven’t seen anything like this before.

$4,999 at Crate & Barrel
2AM Metal 9" Drink Table by Laura Harrier & Tiffany Howell
$399

I’d put this side table in between two club chairs for the perfect place to perch a drink. You could also try it in a bedroom as a nightstand, if you truly have only a few inches of space to work with.
