One thing about me: I’ll never say no to an impromptu trip to IKEA. So when my husband decided to go in search of organizers for his home office, I was happy to tag along. I didn’t need anything myself, so I thought it’d be a great time to try “color hunting,” the social media trend that involves snapping photos of objects in a particular color and combining them into a super satisfying monochrome collage.

The Swedish retailer has no shortage of colorful furniture and decor finds to capture, but because it’s IKEA, I found it fitting to hunt for all things blue (it’s their signature hue!). Keep reading to see what I found.

The 15 Best Blue Finds at IKEA

IKEA PS 2026 Floor Uplighter
$50

IKEA’s new PS 2026 collection is full of statement blue finds, like the ultra-modern floor uplighter, a transforming lamp that bends and twists to direct light wherever you want it. Its slim profile fits perfectly in tight spaces, too.

BILLY Bookcase, Blue
$59

Just when I thought I couldn’t love the BILLY bookcase more, IKEA launched it in a statement-making blue finish (except it’s only available for a limited time!). Add one to your living room for a pop of color, or arrange multiple to create a gorgeous wall unit.

STOCKHOLM 2025 Loveseat
$1,499$1,349

It’s hard to believe the STOCKHOLM 2025 collection dropped a year ago, because I still obsess over this dark turquoise loveseat as if I’m just seeing it for the first time. The bubbly shape, the sheeny (and washable) fabric cover, the modular design — it makes a statement in small spaces!

EKET Wall-Mounted Shelving Unit
$30

The EKET is an IKEA storage classic, so it’s only fitting that it comes in multiple colors. This one has a subtle gray tone, so it’s perfect for anyone who wants to dabble in blue without going all-in on a bold piece. Make it a floating nightstand, a corner wall shelf, or hack it into something totally custom.

IKEA PS 2026 Chair
$89

Dress up your dining table or workspace with this bright blue chair. It has a unique silhouette that allows you to sit forward or backwards with your arms on the backrest. Spills happen — but the seat and backrest covers can be tossed in the wash in case they do.

KLÖSAN Chair Pad
$10$5

For the chair that needs a little extra cushion (and personality), see the KLÖSAN pad. It has the cutest, double-sided, polka-dot-like print. And the recycled polyester fabric is durable enough for life outdoors.

IKEA PS 2026 LED Portable Lamp
$40

On a bedside table, entryway console, or bookshelf, this portable lamp stands out with its bright blue base and burgundy detail. It charges up via a USB-C cable and features three dimming levels for peak coziness.

BRÄNNBOLL Gaming Lounge Chair
$300

I know the BRÄNNBOLL chair is technically for gaming, but its fold-out seat cushion would be great for everyday lounging, too. The cushion covers are machine-washable so it’s easy to keep the Yves Klein-blue fabric bright. And it’s set on casters so you can effortlessly move it around your space.

$300 at IKEA
GLADELIG Pitcher
$20

The GLADELIG pitcher is a solid pick for those who prefer their blues in small doses. The glaze is deep and earthy, with golden brown details that add richness to a dining table or cupboard. It looks like a handmade piece!

KRYLBO Chair
$105

IKEA shoppers say the KRYLBO chair is as comfortable as it is colorful, and given its ergonomic curved back and upholstered foam seat, I’m inclined to agree. One reviewer said they even use it as a desk chair while working from home.

ALSTERN Bath Mat
$10

Energize a stark white bathroom with the ALSTERN bath mat’s vibrant hue. It’s made of a soft cotton terry material, so it feels comfortable underfoot and absorbs excess water without issue.

STOCKHOLM 2025 Throw
$80$50

Never underestimate the decorative power of a throw blanket. The STOCKHOLM 2025 throw features a brilliant blue hue that adds instant interest to a sofa or lounge chair. It’s also made of a plush wool blend so it’s as cozy as it is chic.

BETTHAJ 3.3-Quart Tin
$8

Editors immediately fell in love with the BETTHAJ storage tins when they dropped last fall. The powdery blue color way and groovy exterior couldn’t be cuter. And it’s incredibly practical: Use it to store dry ingredients like flour, grains, or sugar, and bring a stylish pop of color to your countertop.

IKEA PS 1995 Clock

This quirky ‘90s-era clock has a secret: there’s a clever little storage compartment hidden inside! It can also be mounted directly on the wall or perched on a shelf, so you’ve got options.

The MARIUS stool is a game-changer while hosting in a small space. Stack them high without taking up extra floorspace, then pull them out for extra seating in a pinch. Plus, the no-frills design lets the bold blue color do all the talking.
