IKEA Is Selling a Gorgeous Storage Gem That Looks So Luxe (and It’s Only $10)

I hate visual clutter. In recent years, I’ve learned the power of good storage solutions and how, with the right ones for your space, you can keep all the stuff you love without having to worry about having a visibly cluttered home. That’s why I was so happy to see that IKEA just dropped the GJÄTTA Storage Box, a gorgeous velvet storage solution, in a dark green color. They’re so spacious and stylish, and starting at only $9.99 each, I’ll be snapping up at least two of them.

The GJÄTTA Storage Box includes a lid and measures 13 3/4 inches long, 9 3/4 inches wide, and 7 3/4 inches high. It also comes in a larger size for $5 more (12 1/2 inches long, 13 3/4 inches wide, and 12 1/2 inches high) as well as a dark blue color, but it’s marked as “last chance to buy.”

Unlike standard storage boxes that are often made out of plastic, the GJÄTTA Storage Box boasts an outer layer of dark green velvet, creating a luxurious softened look that will make you want to keep your storage solutions out on display. The box itself is crafted out of sturdy paperboard, with convenient handles for lifting and pulling the box out.

I really like how the GJÄTTA Storage Box tackles a common problem people face when looking to store items in their home: the potential for storage solutions to look unsightly. If your home is short on hidden storage areas such as under the bed, or you’re storing items you don’t wish to keep out of reach in the attic, you’re going to need storage boxes you enjoy seeing every day in a cupboard or out in the open.
