I’m very fussy when it comes to jewelry. I have a rather particular taste, and many kinds of metals irritate my skin. So when I do find pieces I love, I like to do my best to store jewelry in a way that will keep them safe as well as easy to find. I was shopping for jewelry storage solutions when I discovered that one option I’ve been looking at, the HALSREM Jewelry Box from IKEA, is soon to be discontinued. If you’re looking for a simple, easy-to-organize jewelry storage option, you might want to get this gem before it sells out.

The HALSREM Jewelry Box from IKEA Is Being Discontinued

The HALSREM Jewelry Box is a simple, slim-line storage piece measuring 13 inches long, 8 3/4 inches wide, and 2 1/4 inches high. Its main structure is crafted out of durable bamboo, accompanied by a felt lining to keep your jewelry pieces scuff-free and secure. The box itself is split into several compartments to store all kinds of items from necklaces and bracelets to rings and brooches. But the divider on the righthand side is also removable if you’d rather have items sit more loosely inside.

The most practical feature of the HALSREM Jewelry Box has to be its transparent lid. I love being able to double up my jewelry collection as a display item. I also really like how thin the product is, making it easily stackable if you, like me, have enough jewelry where you might want multiple easy-to-visualize storage solutions. Buyers of the HALSTREM Jewelry Box seem to agree with me, saying they “shouldn’t have ever gotten another kind,” and that it’s “great for the price.”

Where to Find a Similar Jewelry Box

If you missed the HALSREM Jewelry Box before it sold out, the Meangood Jewelry Box from Amazon is a decent alternative at an almost identical price point. It features a lot of the same elements including felt lining and wooden exterior — plus an extra drawer for bonus storage at the bottom.
