As far as budget-friendly home decor stores are concerned, IKEA is the best of the best. Beyond its viral MALM dressers and storage cubbies, it’s also one of the best places to buy textiles for your home. That includes some high-end and limited-edition rugs that, albeit expensive for IKEA’s typical price points, are an incredible deal compared to some of the vintage rugs on my wish list.

I first discovered IKEA’s limited-edition rugs earlier this year when I was shopping for new curtains and wandered by the NICKGRÄS rug in the marketplace. I was initially shocked by the $400 price tag, but when I got closer to it, I was thoroughly impressed by the quality and design. It seriously looks like something I’d find at a local Los Angeles flea market for at least three times the price. Then I went online and realized it’s not the only luxe rug from IKEA — the brand has a whole assortment of unique, well-made styles (most of which are 100% wool).

If you’re like me and dream of a vintage rug for your home but don’t want to spend thousands, let these IKEA rugs make a statement in your space.

DOFTMYSKGRÄS Rug
$1,200

After spotting the NICKGRÄS rug, I scrolled through the entire IKEA rug collection and gasped when I saw the DOFTMYSKGRÄS rug. This vintage-inspired, 100% wool textile has that Persian-inspired feel and adds a gorgeous pop of color to your space. It’s definitely priced on the more expensive side, but because it’s a large (handwoven!) area rug, this is a great investment that covers plenty of ground in the living room, bedroom, or office.

KÖBILDNING Rug
$400

If you prefer a simple rug but still want something a bit more high-end compared to typical IKEA designs, the KÖBILDNING rug is another great choice. I’d also consider this a stellar deal (by IKEA standards), given its 9' 10" x 7' 10" size.

VIMPELGRÄS Rug
$1,200

For another splurge-worthy IKEA limited-edition find, consider the VIMPELGRÄS rug. This beautiful home accent draws inspiration from traditional Afghan artistry. It’s also constructed from 100% wool, which not only ensures a high-quality design but also means it’s naturally stain-repellent.

KNYLHAVRE Rug
$350

The KNYLHAVRE rug is another one of IKEA’s luxe rugs worth considering — especially if you lean toward more western-inspired motifs in your space. This chic area rug has an overall neutral coloring, yet includes slight pops of color in pastel geometric shapes. Bonus: It’s only $350 for a 100% wool rug.

PENSELRÅG Rug
$500

Another versatile 100% wool rug, the PENSELRÅG rug has neutral-lovers covered. It features a creamy tan background with a soft pink-and-gray pattern that would look so beautiful in a nursery or even an office space. The fringed border adds a fun textured touch wherever you style it, too.
