In my opinion, a tablescape isn’t complete without a candlestick holder — especially one that looks far more expensive than it actually is. IKEA’s SILVERPÄRON silver candlestick holder does exactly that; it adds a sculptural touch without distracting from the linens, plates, and potential florals vying for attention. Plus, it has a five-star rating online.

I couldn’t stop staring at the candlestick holder on Olivia Konys’ coffee table. Her home, an apartment in Queens, is full of color and maximalism, but the IKEA red double-stick candleholder jumped out at me. Unfortunately that piece isn’t available anymore, but IKEA’s SILVERPÄRON is similar in shape — and the chrome color is just as eye-catching.

IKEA’s Chrome Candlestick Holder Looks High-End

It’s no surprise that IKEA’s SILVERPÄRON caught my eye. Last September, IKEA gave designer Arianna Castro $50 to shop in IKEA, and she selected the same candlestick holder. Arianna selected this piece with seasonality in mind, saying the item “creates a high-end fall mood.” However, I think the timeless silver finish makes it suitable for year-round use, and it looks far more expensive than its $15 price tag.

IKEA shoppers love the candleholder, too, based on its five-star rating on the Swedish brand’s website. “This candleholder is right on trend! Use as a pair with different height candles. It modernizes your decor for such a low investment,” an IKEA shopper wrote. Grace, another IKEA shopper, added, “So cute and great price!”

If this piece goes out of stock or you live somewhere outside of IKEA’s delivery range, there’s a similar-looking find at West Elm that actually holds three candlesticks. It’s made of stainless steel and comes in black and chrome.

If you’re looking for a statement piece that’s subtle yet eye-catching, look no further than IKEA’s SILVERPÄRON. For just $15, you’ll display an item that looks way more high-end than its price tag suggests. To see more of Olivia’s apartment (aka the home that inspired this find), visit the full House Tour
