If IKEA has one superfan, it’s me. The iconic Swedish store’s stylish, affordable furniture has gotten me through countless apartment moves without dooming me to financial ruin — and the brand’s commitment to quality somehow keeps getting better. IKEA has been releasing new solid-wood pieces to its lineup, all while keeping prices relatively low — headline news for folks like me who want premium “forever furniture” on a particleboard budget.

Birch, beech, pine, acacia … IKEA has amassed a solid selection (no pun intended) of solid-wood furniture. So if you’re in the market for something new that’s built to last and doesn’t blow your budget, I scoured the retailer’s site for its best acacia pieces under $500.

STOREDAMM Shelf Unit
$130

What’s cool about the STOREDAMM shelf is its unique, tapered silhouette. Its largest shelf is at the bottom (perfect for storing bulkier items like towels or storage baskets), and its smallest is at the top (perfect for tchotchkes and decor).

NÄMMARÖ Storage Box
$125

While the NÄMMARÖ storage box is intended for outdoor use (acacia wood is incredibly durable!), I think it would look great indoors, too. Its slatted design and rich brown stain would bring immediate interest to an entryway or living room — and it doubles as an extra seat.

SKOGSTA Bench with Storage
$150

Whether it's sidled up to your dining table, at the foot of your bed, or along an entryway, the SKOGSTA bench brings a natural, farmhouse vibe to any spot in the house. Even better, it has a built-in storage shelf underneath for shoes, blankets, and more.

SKOGSTA Table
$400

It’s not every day you find a solid-wood dining table for less than $500, which makes the SKOGSTA table a total gem. Its varied wood grain adds a rustic touch to any dining nook; and at 47.5 inches wide, it’s a perfect mid-sized option for families of four.

SKOGSTA Table, Counter Height
$200

At just under 30 inches wide, the SKOGSTA counter-height table is a space-savvy option for studio- and apartment-dwellers. Its mixed-wood grain surface is set atop sturdy black legs for stylish contrast and a modern farmhouse aesthetic.

SKOGSTA Bar Stool
$95

No one likes a creaky bar stool. That’s why the SKOGSTA stool is such a spectacular find: The solid acacia wood makes it super sturdy. Plus, there’s an arched, spindled back rest for added support — and classic, farmhouse charm.

NACKANÄS Table
$400

From craft nights to potlucks, the NACKANÄS table’s 55-inch-long surface will see you through it all. Its Shaker-inspired silhouette features centered legs that free up some leg room and give you space to squeeze in a few extra guests.

STOREDAMM Shelf Unit, Short
$80

This shorter version of the STOREDAMM shelf could easily double as an entryway shoe rack or console. It could even be positioned sideways to squeeze in narrow spaces in your bathroom. The tapered shape gives it some structural interest, while the solid acacia wood brings a natural touch to your decor.
