I write about house tours (but I love a good kitchen and kids' room article). My work can be found across AT Media, including The Kitchn and Cubby. I’ve been writing about home-related topics for nearly five years and love seeing how people make their homes unique.

The cold weather and the seemingly endless preparation for winter storms have me dreaming of warmer days ahead, but there’s one IKEA find under $20 that’s making me ready to plan fresh floral bouquets. IKEA’s STILREN vase, a simple white fluted vase that has over 500 five-star reviews, caught my eye in Kirsten Ashley’s minimal kitchen, and I had to know more.

While watching the video above, which highlights several wonderful small spaces, I spotted the best-selling vase in Kirsten Ashley’s kitchen in her minimalist apartment, and I immediately wanted to know more about the gem. If you’re already thinking about how to display your future spring florals, keep learning about this five-star find.

What is IKEA’s STILREN Vase?

The STILREN vase is a white, fluted planter that lets your florals shine (thanks to the muted color) while adding drama with a glazed stoneware texture. It’s just shy of 9 inches tall and is less than $20. The vase’s top is narrower, which will make your bouquets look fuller.

Because of the vase’s beauty, I’m already swayed to add it to my cart; however, the numerous (over 500) five-star ratings make me want to click faster. “Great white vase. Looks more expensive. Good quality. I bought three,” Karen, an IKEA shopper, wrote in an online review.

Dionne, another IKEA shopper, shared, “This elevates your space even if you don’t add flowers. The design suits every different type you can think of with a price that will make you check if it’s correct. I love it. It has a nice weight making it feel premium with a quality finish. I love it!”

In the video above, Kirsten explains that she wanted everything in her kitchen to be “appealing.” So, it’s no surprise that she displayed her STILREN vase on a marble tray next to candles. Her pots also match the planter’s color, making the room look so cohesive.

With IKEA’s STILREN vase you can display fresh florals (or faux flowers) in a five-star pot that’s under $20. It’s a sturdy piece that looks a lot more expensive than it is.

There are many more beautiful finds to discover than just this vase. Check out all the House Tours featured in this post’s video roundup.
