IKEA is known for having great prices across the board, but I think the best deals often come in small packages. I, for one, never skip the home decor section — in particular, I’m always on the hunt for IKEA candles. I stock up on tealights, pillars, and tapers on almost every visit.

On my most recent trip, though, I stumbled across a new collection in the candle aisle — and it was love at first sight. Introducing: IKEA’s new TURTURDUVA Candlestick Holders.

Why I Love IKEA’s TURTURDUVA Candleholder Collection

Now, as I said, I buy just about all of my candles at IKEA, but I haven’t bought many candleholders there. I usually like an eclectic mix of vintage pieces; they’re one of my favorite items to pick up at a flea market or while traveling, as they’re generally small and always useful. But these ones stood out to me right away, thanks to their vintage vibe!

These small metal dish-shaped candleholders come in a crisp off-white color, with delicate scalloped detailing around the edges that reminds me of a lace doily. The smooth metal surface makes them easier to clean and gives a bit of a modern edge to an otherwise vintage-inspired silhouette.

I bought three of the TURTURDUVA taper candleholders, and one candle dish that’s made for multiple pillar candles. They also carry a smaller version for a single pillar candle — or whatever else you can imagine! I use my larger candle dish as a coffee table tray to keep my coasters, cards, and, yes, favorite candle, feeling organized. I could see the smaller dish being used as a catch-all for jewelry, or any other trinkets.

Especially around the holidays, I think real taper and pillar candles are such stylish and sophisticated accents — and I intend to use my TURTURDUVA candleholders as key components of my Christmas decor this year. Try styling one of the TURTURDUVA dishes with these red FENOMEN candles, or the taper candleholders with IKEA’s new CONTORTALL candles for a fun and festive holiday centerpiece.
