Small kitchens like the one I live in can quickly feel like chaos when they aren’t organized. It can be frustrating not knowing where items are or being unable to reach for things easily. In order to keep your frequently used items within reach, I recommend using a utensil holder like the UPPFYLLD Kitchen Utensil Holder from IKEA. But hurry — this organizing gem is going to be discontinued soon. And because it’s only $6.99 apiece, I’m sure it’ll be sorely missed.

What Is the UPPFYLLD Kitchen Utensil Holder?

The UPPFYLLD Kitchen Utensil Holder is a highly functional storage piece made out of hardwearing powdered steel. Measuring at 9 3/4” high, 4” long, and 11” tall, it’s a compact product that makes the most out of even a small area of surface space. The holder has room for hanging six utensils in the front, as well as space to stand up chopping boards or a cookbook at the back.

I like it because you can put your most commonly used cooking utensils — peelers, measuring spoons, and kitchen scissors — right next to your cooking space. It takes up very little countertop space and is fairly versatile.

Why the UPPFYLLD Kitchen Utensil Holder Is So Versatile

Reviews reveal that this utensil holder can be useful in many more rooms than just the kitchen. One reviewer said they use the holder as cord control for their phone and laptop on their desk. Another said they use it on their sewing table to organize their various sewing scissors and glasses. Someone else said that they “weren’t actually sure” what the product was for, but that “it works perfectly for hanging the car keys and house keys.”

But why stop there? I could also see this as the perfect tool to hang necklaces on a vanity. Unfortunately because IKEA has marked it “last chance to buy,” it means that the organizer won’t be restocked after it sells out.

Is the UPPFYLLD Kitchen Utensil Holder No Longer in Stock at IKEA? Shop This Similar Find on Amazon

If you missed your chance to purchase the UPPFYLLD Kitchen Utensil Holder from IKEA, here’s another option you can find on Amazon. The Yamazaki Home Wide Tool Stand provides a similar use case, but at a much higher price point: $29. Plus, the Yamazaki brand feels more solidly like a kitchen tool organizer, but has a wider basket design that makes it able to fit more tools than the IKEA gem, so your mileage may vary!
