DIY TV unit for bedroom with self-painted canvases as wall art

Tell us a little (or a lot) about your home and the people who live there: I live in an apartment in outskirts of Delhi. It’s on 17th floor, and I absolutely love the views from my home and the breeze that flows in. I live with my partner, and we own the space. This home is absolutely special for both of us because we have worked really hard to set up this space!

Travel-themed hallway

An architect by profession, I have always believed in Einstein’s saying, “Creativity is intelligence having fun.” So my home is very colorful, full of cheer and fun. My decor style is contemporary with extensive use of colors, patterns, and indoor greens.

I believe in reusing and repurposing in home decor. I like to use eco-friendly material like terracotta and bamboo in my decor. Also I believe small budgets and small efforts can create smart corners in your home. I love to upcycle a lot and constantly try to create decor pieces using old finds from flea markets.

Home studio to shoot DIY videos for social media

What is your favorite room and why? My favorite room is my home studio where I ideate and create content. Being a content creator in my free time, I love to shoot DIY and art videos in my studio. My studio is a small colorful setup with lots of plants; this space inspires me a lot. It also sometimes doubles up as my work from home nook as well.

Colorful seating area with DIY hot pink side table

I recently bought a wooden candle stand from a nearby flea market and upcycled it into a cute side table using Capri Pink chalk paint from Annie Sloan. The table turned out to be a huge hit on my social media page.

Any advice for creating a home you love? Enjoy the process of setting up your dream space. Create a space that relaxes you and motivates you!
