Lay’s Just Brought Back This Super Popular Potato Chip Flavor for a Limited Time
There’s always some kind of new fun flavor from Lay’s to discover on grocery store shelves. And while some of them have been a hit (like Chile Limón or Dill Pickle) and others of them not so much (Strawberry? Cinnamon Roll?), it seems Lay’s fans are particularly excited about the return of a limited-edition flavor that has been missing from shelves: Cheesy Garlic Bread.
Originally this flavor was a winner of Lay’s 2013 “Do Us a Flavor” contest, winning alongside other popular customer-suggested flavors such as Sriracha and Chicken & Waffles. While both of these flavors did end up on the market, Cheesy Garlic Bread has amassed a dedicated fan following over the years, and continues to be a flavor that is brought back to shelves again and again.
“One of the best Lay’s,” writes one fan. “Yes Lays brings back the winning flavor,” exclaims another.
Fans on Reddit even agree about how delicious this chip is, wishing it never left shelves in the first place. “This right here this was the best thing like ever if I could go back in time just to buy a bag,” shares one chip lover on Reddit. “I miss them so much.” Another writes, “Yesss!! That right there…that stuff gave me life. We need them back like right away!”
However, there’s a big catch for this limited edition chip: As of right now, you will only be able to snatch a bag over at Sam’s Club, either in store or online. You can snag a 15-ounce bag at $4.48 on the Sam’s Club website now. While there have been no announcements whether the chip will make it to other retailers, if you live near a Sam’s Club and have a membership, you might want to stock up on a few bags of Lay’s Cheesy Garlic Bread Chips before they sell out. Fans even confirm that you won’t regret stocking up while they’re still available.
