There are two things that have been on my mind lately: desserts and lighting. The first because, well, I have a sweet tooth year-round, and the second because I’ve recently realized what a difference living room lighting can make. 

I’ve also lately been moving away from a more neutral, minimalist style, and consequently, I’ve been interested in making my furniture a little more fun — and lighting, of course, is a huge part of that. While you can play around with color and tones, you can also work on making your light fixtures or sources interesting! The latest one I’ve got my eye on is this gorgeous HomeGoods macaron lamp.

HomeGoods no longer stocks pieces online, so you’ll have to find your way to your nearest store to grab one of your own. Maxx, which operates under the same umbrella, a try as well. If you’re willing to pay a premium, you can try to find them on resale websites, but that’s not a guarantee.
