Carrie Boyd and her husband have been working tirelessly to refresh their 1,000-square-foot house in Manchester that they share with their two kids. In fact, they updated their home from basically top to bottom, and they’ve infused the three-bedroom home with a warm decor style that reflects their family.

“I have a real eclectic taste for so many different styles, so when it came to decorating I have fused it all together and I have created a mix of industrial with modern, with a dash of moodiness and a whole lot of color,” Carrie wrote in her AT house tour.

With the holiday season upon us, Carrie has now transformed her home into a magical and festive Christmas decor wonderland. “I started on November 1st and do a little bit day by day. My outdoor arch took me four days doing a few hours each day. I did the full house over three weeks to space it out,” she writes.

Carrie describes her home style as colorful, eclectic, and industrial. But when it comes to the home’s holiday decor style, she describes it as “traditional, nature-inspired, and maximalist.”

DIY has played a big part in how she’s created her festive home. “You don’t have to spend a lot to make your home festive. If you don’t want to splurge on garlands and faux foliage, you can forage instead,” Carrie explains. But she’s also always on the hunt for a deal, too. “Something I love to do is pick up bargains after Christmas and store it for next year,” Carrie begins. “I bought lots of baubles last year in the Boxing Day sales for a tiny fraction of the original price.”
