These $28 Hurricane Candleholders Have the Nancy Meyers Look I’m Always Chasing

I’ve loved hurricane candleholders for a long time. And while it’s always fun to thrift them, any avid secondhand shopper will tell you it can be difficult to find pairs when going the preloved route. I had wanted a set of pretty hurricanes for my living room mantel. And I didn’t want to spend a ton of money on them, given that I like to swap out my accessories often — especially as the holidays near.

What I love about these hurricanes is how simple-yet-chic they are style-wise. They don’t detract from the intricate detailing on my Greek key console table, which is across from my mantel. But they aren’t too plain, either, which can be an issue with basic glass hurricanes. The wicker trim adds a nice coastal-meets-traditional touch to any space, while the silver detailing is contemporary and playful. I think they look very Nancy Meyers, if I do say so myself!
