Under $1000 Kitchen Makeovers (That Look Like A Million Bucks)
There are budget makeovers, and then there are BUDGET MAKEOVERS. These fall in the latter camp and manage to knock our socks off, despite the teeniest tiniest price tags imaginable.
Hannah of Seeds & Stitches pulled off this amazing transformation —which involved painting cabinets, a basic backsplash and new open shelving — for only £339. Also lead image above.
This kitchen project was all about sanding, priming, painting and hanging. It look the owners longer than they thought — about three weeks total — but what a difference from the brown on brown on brown kitchen it was before. The full project cost about $500.
Classy Clutter was able to get this bright and fun kitchen for about $200. It involved a lot of time (namely spent on the hand-drawn “wallpaper”) but since it’s a rental, she won’t look back and wonder why she spent so much money on a temporary space.
Julia upgraded her kitchen for right around $1,000 and it included a new floor, wall paint and backsplash. The island is made of a table top and trestles from IKEA, which she already had on hand. You see the Before & After pics, or her entire house tour as well.
After two weeks of non-stop painting and sanding, Sarah of All Things With Purpose revealed her fixed up $300 kitchen. To keep costs down she did shiplap instead of tile on the backsplash, and tried her luck at hand-marbleizing the countertop.
This cute kitchen got a drastic new look for about $500. Shanna’s biggest cost was new baseboards to finish off her newly scraped and refinished hardwood floor.
