Remember when all your friends’ moms had those little Italian chef statues and jars upon jars of pickled red peppers lining their kitchen countertops in the early 2000s? The Tuscan kitchen theme was all the rage back then — and now Michaels is making an (adorable) case for bringing the Italian-inspired trend back. The arts-and-crafts store just dropped a line of the cutest Italian-themed kitchen decor, and it feels like the Tuscan kitchens of yore belong back on your countertops.

The official Michaels TikTok account posted a peek into the new collection on June 14, and there are so many cute Italian-inspired finds in the video, from the vintage-style bread boxes, sugar bowls, and tomato can utensil holders to woven baskets, metal cake stands, and cute little signs that read “Mangia” and “La Cucina.”

But the tomato-shaped bowls and the appetizer plates shaped like pastas are the real standouts for me.

“Italian kitchen decor is back in!” one person commented on the TikTok video. Another person wrote, “Brb I’m entering my Nonna era.”

“We are getting closer and closer to pickled veggies in strange jars that you never open coming back,” someone else said. What did I tell you? Everyone knows the nostalgia of an Italian-inspired kitchen.

Much of the new collection is available to shop on Michaels’ website, too, with prices starting at just $4. Plus, if you use a Michaels coupon, you can save up to 40% on everything (as if you needed any more of an incentive to shop), like these adorable pasta shape-inspired dip plates that are on sale for $6.99.

The Italian kitchen is back, baby. And while it looks a bit fresher than it did 20 years ago, there’s still so much nostalgia packed into those ceramic tomatoes and decorative spoon rests.
