M&M’s New Limited-Edition Flavor Tastes Like My “All-Time Favorite” Dessert (100x Better Than the Original!)
I’m a candy connoisseur. Halloween was always my favorite holiday when I was a kid (candy galore!). I also need at least two to three different sweet treats for any movie I watch, and I could spend hours wandering the grandiose candy aisles at my local grocery store. I love the classics — Snickers, Sour Patch Kids, Reese’s — but I’m always on the hunt for fresh flavors.
Speaking of, M&M’s just released a new flavor that’s perfect for fall: M&M’s Pumpkin Pie. Two dessert icons coming together — and, unsurprisingly, it’s a match made in candy heaven!
What You Should Know About M&M’s Pumpkin Pie
M&M’s isn’t new to mash-ups (we’re looking at you, M&M’s Honey Graham Cracker). The beloved brand is once again reimagining the chocolate candies with its latest seasonal release, combining smooth milk chocolate with a spiced pumpkin pie filling. The timing couldn’t be more perfect if you ask me, with fall on the horizon and pumpkin-spiced everything hitting grocery shelves nationwide.
They’re larger than the standard M&M candies — about the same size as Peanut Butter M&M’s — and come in orange, brown, and white candy shell-coated colors. The 7-ounce bags hit grocery stores earlier this summer, and are now widely available at select retailers, including Target and Instacart for a limited time.
My Honest Review of M&M’s Pumpkin Pie
Pumpkin pie is my all-time favorite fall dessert and I love M&M’s, so I was excited to get my hands on these newly launched candies. To my delight, they did not disappoint. It’s like miniature forkfuls of pumpkin pie in perfect bite-sized candy-coated pieces. Creamy milk chocolate infuses beautifully with the cozy warmth of pumpkin spice, all wrapped up tri-colored candy shells.
Don’t just take my word for it — I brought this bag over to my friend’s place for one of our weekly dinners and we couldn’t get enough of them! After a few handfuls of silently appreciating these candies, my friend piped up to say, “Wait, I might like these even more than the originals.” Which is huge praise.
