Reboots can either be the absolute worst, or they're the best thing to happen to TV. It's frustrating that some showrunners just won't let a series end. But then there are instances where they know what's best and bring back the show we really needed - thank god Trading Spaces is back!

In a world where HGTV reigns supreme with 20 different house-flipping shows, the Trading Spaces reboot is a breath of fresh air on TLC.

The long-anticipated reboot debuted on April 7, 2018, and the series brought back many fan favorites like host Paige Davis, carpenter Ty Pennington, and designers Vern Yip, Genevieve Gorder, Hildi Santo-Tomas, Doug Wilson, Frank Bielec, and Laurie Smith.

The latest episode of this show, we got to see interior designers couple Nate Berkus and Jeremiah Brent try to take on the Trading Spaces challenge.

"These two guys are probably used to a bigger budget and they're definitely used to more time, but today, they've got neither!" host Paige Davis Warner in the episode.

Nate and Jeremiah are obviously used to working with a much loftier budget and a larger timeframe. But for Trading Spaces, they had just 2 days and $2,000 to work with. The husbands were tasked with each designing a room.

But they certainly came out on top, as if you expected anything less? Jeremiah masterfully designed an entire room around a fireplace that had previously been an eyesore. By using reclaimed wood, he was able to transform the fireplace into something everyone would want in their home.

For Nate, the family he was working with wanted to keep the couch in their living room. So, he was clever and made it look new by adding new pillows. The pillows were fashioned out of old sweaters - he found a beautiful cashmere sweater in a thrift shop for $8.

Check out the rooms that both Nate Berkus and Jeremiah Brent designed on Trading Spaces in the video below.
