This Renter-Friendly Countertop Dishwasher Has Made My Life Infinitely Easier
Washing dishes is a hassle. For many, it’s that one household chore that you always procrastinate tackling. Over the last couple of months, I’ve found myself having a hard time sticking to my usual cleaning routine. In my search to spend less time doing the dishes, I came across a remarkable product: The NOVETE Countertop Portable Dishwasher. Weighing under 40 pounds and measuring just 16 inches wide, this compact washer fits perfectly for anyone who has a small living space.
When I first
As far as the general setup of this portable dishwasher, it was fairly easy and it has the amazing option of adding water to the machine manually, making it accessible to apartment renters who are banned from using additional water hose extensions. When it comes to using dishwasher pods or liquid and powder detergent, I would recommend using pods for this device, as they tend to dissolve more easily than liquid and powder detergents. Although I enjoy many aspects of this small but mighty machine, it’s not without its flaws. One thing I’ve noticed since using the machine for over months is that the wheels on the side of the dishwasher seem to get jammed easily and even sometimes fall off. I can easily put them back on, but it can be quite tedious especially when I’m in a rush to start a load of dishes. Additionally, if you plan to load water into the dishwasher manually, it is important to keep in mind that you will have to use the water cup that’s included, which can be a bit of a hassle as the water easily splashes everywhere. Another con is the price. At $400, you’re looking at quite the investment for an item that you’re buying more for convenience than necessity. Despite these caveats, the machine is definitely a game-changer for people always on the go, like myself. If you’re overwhelmed with sinks full of dirty dishes on the daily, I would absolutely recommend this countertop solution.
