What do you get when you combine the timeless Pottery Barn look with the stylish, colorful whimsy of Anthropologie? OKA, a female-founded, U.K.-based home brand that specializes in beautiful, well-curated furniture and decor — all of which look straight out of a European country home.

I’m (unsurprisingly) always on the hunt for new home brands to add to my shopping rotation, and OKA does not miss, especially if your interior taste leans cottagecore or grandmillennial. However, the brand also has a mix of classic and contemporary rooted in quintessentially laid-back British elegance. Lucky for me and you, they ship to the U.S., so you can bring the look home for yourself.

OKA works closely with a roster of global artisans, prioritizing handmade, ethically-sourced products. In 2020, they launched Tailored by OKA, a made-to-order sofa service fulfilled by a family-run business in North Carolina. Because of this attention to quality, prices skew on the higher side (comparable to Pottery Barn and Anthropologie). However, thanks to the ageless designs and expert craftsmanship, you’re investing in heirloom-quality pieces.

Currently, OKA has two stores in Texas (with more expected to open stateside), but you can check out their full inventory online. I especially love the brand’s “Shop by Room” homepage feature for some quick living room, bedroom, or office inspo. I also picked out some of my favorite OKA furniture and decor finds below in a range of costs:

This diamond-back wooden seat is technically a dining chair, but it has major potential to give your desk the English-countryside charm, too. No matter where you put it, the piece feels timeless.

OKA’s pretty printed tableware selection might be my favorite of all, especially this antique-inspired, ivy-adorned set of bowls. Paired with the matching plates (or any others from the brand’s classic assortment), these can make even breakfast cereal look garden party-ready.

$250.00

The perfect blue hue, this textured lamp feels subtle and soothing, yet decidedly sophisticated, and at nearly 20-inches tall, it makes a statement. Note that the shade is not included.

$550.00

Believe it or not, this round coffee table is made from weather-resistant faux rattan, so it’s actually designed to level up your outdoor spaces. But it would look just as wow-worthy in your living room, too.

OKA’s textiles are particularly noteworthy, as seen with this geometric pillow cover, which also comes in blue and black. You can never go wrong with a simple striped design, and the tasseled corner adds a fun, fresh feel.

There are bust decor accents, and then there are bust decor accents that truly look straight out of an art museum. Handpainted resin gives this Ancient Greece-inspired piece a life-like effect; you can easily style it on a bookcase, side table, coffee table, and beyond.
