This Toiletry Storage Set Organizes Absolutely Everything

I’ve gone through many travel-sized toiletries in the past — single-use face wash bottles, mini toothpastes that are handed out at hotels, soft plastic tube sets bought at the drug store, etc. But time and time again, I’ve found that these travel toiletry containers are just not up to the challenge of the air pressure of flying. There’s nothing I hate more than looking for my toothpaste in my carry-on or toiletry kit and finding it everywhere but inside the tube. 

As a certified carry-on-only traveler, I’ve been on the hunt for properly leak-proof, carry-on-sized containers that can hold my face wash, shampoo, conditioner, and other liquids for quick trips. That’s why I was excited to try the PakAway All-Inclusive Set, which includes five toiletry containers that are pre-labeled, watertight, airtight, and TSA-approved.

The PakAway All-Inclusive Set includes five pre-labeled travel-sized toiletry bottles: one for Shampoo, Conditioner, Body Wash, Cleanser, and Face Moisturizer. Each container in this kit is square-shaped with a round edge and a pump top. To protect the containers from leaking, you simply close the top by twisting the square top over it to close it and under it to open it. To empty or refill your containers, you can also totally unscrew the top and bottom. Each container can hold 1 ounce of liquid, so it’s a bit smaller than the TSA-approved limit of 3.4 ounces per container. 

The containers are super easy to clean — you simply take each container apart and wash it with soap and water, allow it to air-dry, and put it back together. While PakAway has the all-inclusive set, your toiletry needs may be different than mine — you can also put together a custom set of three or five containers based on what you need when you travel. They have twist-off, pump, and spray bottles. You can buy individual bottles with a custom label and dispensing mechanism of your choice, or even a set of labels to switch up your containers.

The PakAway set is great for a few reasons. The pre-labeled bottles make it easy to ensure that I’m always using the right face wash or shampoo, considering the fact that most of them look the exact same in the tube. It’s also truly leak-proof — I used this set on a travel stint where I had 10 flights to get through, and there wasn’t a single leak in the set. The pumps are super-effective and are great for meting out just a bit of whatever I need at a time, so I wasn’t accidentally pouring several days’ worth of face wash in my palm. 

My only complaint about the set is that the 1-ounce containers are smaller than I would typically bring for my own travel purposes — at least for a long trip. Part of this is because I try to never check bags, so I imagine most people traveling for several weeks would be checking bags and not be limited by the size of their toiletries. This kit would be perfect for a week or less somewhere — exactly the kind of travel kit that you would typically bring on a carry-on.

Plus, I often find that travel-sized toiletry containers are extremely difficult to totally clean in-between uses. This kit is definitely easy to clean. There are no weird nooks and crannies for sticky soaps and cleansers to get stuck in. I can just unscrew everything, wash the set with soapy water, and air-dry. Voila!
