With so much more time being spent at home, I can’t stress enough the importance of comfortable loungewear. Let’s be honest, we sometimes have full days that are spent in our pajamas. But not getting dressed in actual outfits doesn’t mean that we can’t wear something that feels good, whether it’s a nightgown, cozy sweats, or a luxurious robe.

When I get up in the morning, the first thing I reach for is a robe. My apartment is cold, and leaving the warmth of my bed means seeking it elsewhere. I’ve been a fan of Parachute bedding for a while now, but it wasn’t too long ago that I ventured outside of sheets and pillowcases. The latest addition to my collection of home comforts is their Classic Turkish Cotton Robe.

I was interested in Parachute’s Classic Turkish Cotton Robe after spending summer months in the Cloud Cotton Robe. I loved the lightweight option; however, I wanted a thicker robe for when the seasons began to change. Even though I’ll be wearing it indoors, where I have control over the temperature, there’s something about fall that makes a person want to be surrounded by cozy items. This Turkish Cotton Robe can definitely check “Cozy” off the metaphorical list of fall must-haves.

The comfy robe is made from 100 percent long-staple Turkish cotton, giving it a soft terry texture without any shedding. The pockets are slouchy and roomy, it’s absorbent, and the robe has a shawl collar for a little touch of luxury. Also, it keeps your neck nice and warm. I prefer my robes to fit oversized, and I am SO comfortable in this one! The extra-large on my 5’2” frame comes down to my ankles and has some weight to it, so it’s like walking around in a wearable blanket. Paired with soft rib slippers and a mug of maple pecan coffee, my mornings feel autumn-ready.

The colors of this Parachute robe are kept fairly neutral and include white, Mineral (light gray), and Stone (dark gray). Mine is Blush, a soft pastel pink. It’s great if you want a hint of color without it being too bright. Fawn is a new color for those who want an earthy shade of brown.

I can absolutely lounge around in this robe all day! In fact, I’ve done it before on a particularly lazy Sunday or two. Though I mentioned earlier I got this robe as an alternative to its lightweight Cloud Cotton counterpart, the Classic Turkish Cotton Robe isn’t overly thick so it’s good to wear all year round (if you’re not like me and don’t see a need for more than one robe). It’s for sure a robe to grab if you want to make leisurely time at home feel like a day at the spa.
