It’s a Parachute world, and I’m (literally) living in it: my mattress, sheets, and comforter have all come from the California-based home brand. And if you know me, you know I especially love the latter, a.k.a. their Cloud Cotton Quilt. Yes, it absolutely lives up to its cloud-inspired moniker, and no I will probably never sleep with any other bedding, ever. I’m confident that I’m not alone in my rave-about-it-to-anyone-who-will-listen obsession, either — it’s become somewhat of a reader shopping favorite, as well. So, if you’re a fellow Cloud Cotton or Parachute enthusiast, I have big bedtime- and loungewear-related news. As of now, that same unbelievably cozy bedding material is available in… drum roll, please… pajama form.

That’s right, taking Cloud Cotton comfort to the next level, you can officially wear it. Parachute’s new sleepwear line features a long sleeve button down-style top, short sleeve tee, matching pants, and a nightgown dress — yep, all made from their signature organic cotton, and designed for mixing and matching. Each comes in women’s sizes XS to 3X, as well as men’s S to XXL. Choose from three super unique and earthy dyed colorways across the collection, too: the light-toned Bone, taupe-like Clover, and the blue-hued Dusk.

I got my hands on a set of the long-sleeve top and pajama bottoms in Bone, and I was sold after sleep #1 — scratch that, unboxing try-on #1. Of course, I washed and dried both pieces before testing, and can confirm that there was no shrinkage or loss of softness whatsoever. Major emphasis on softness here: Taking a cue from the Cloud Cotton Quilt itself, these pajamas manage to feel perfectly lightweight and breezy, yet simultaneously cozy (think your favorite old sweatshirt, but even gentler). So far, they’ve kept me cool during August NYC heat and, just like their bedding counterpart, I have high hopes they’ll become an evergreen sleep staple, regardless of the temps. One minor note, the color was a tiny bit darker than I expected from the website photos (it skews more tan), but these PJs are still the full five-star package overall.

This set fit me true to size, with a roomy-but-not-overpowering silhouette. The pants also come with an adjustable elastic waist tie, and pockets! Looks-wise, I also love that both pieces have a slightly gauzy texture for that casual worn-in aesthetic. Moral of the story, I would basically live in these pajamas all day, every day if I could… although I’ve admittedly almost hit that point already — the shirt’s become a daily WFH layering must-have whenever I’m not sleeping in it, and I even wore it out in public once over a slip dress while shopping with friends. Yes, it’s that stylish and comfy, not to mention versatile.

The same goes for the rest of the Organic Cloud Cotton sleepwear line, including the high-low dress (hello, nap time necessity!) and boatneck tee. Everything is currently available to shop via the Parachute website, starting at $89 per piece. Sure, these do run on the pricier side, but I know from experience with my Cloud Cotton Quilt that this high-quality material is well worth the hype and price. And take it from me, the launch is fully functional beyond just your bed and sofa, too! New go-to travel outfits, anyone?
