The “Beautiful” Quilt I’m Keeping on My Bed All Winter (It’s So Cozy!)

As a hot sleeper, I’m all about layering my bedding rather than sticking to a go-to comforter. That’s especially true in the “cooler” months, when the weather in Louisiana fluctuates between warm and cold well into the spring. In addition to a top sheet, my bed is currently outfitted with a breathable bamboo coverlet and a lightweight blanket, but the piece that really ties it all together is the Cotton Velvet Channel Quilt from Quince. I have a 15-inch mattress and, despite it being so thick, the quilt is still able to cover the sides and foot of the bed when it’s made.

At night, I love hopping into bed and snuggling into my sheets beneath this quilt. It’s long enough to pull over my head if I want to feel totally cocooned, and I can easily fold it over itself if I want to lessen the amount of layers that I’m sleeping under. The quilt is soft to the touch, and definitely adds a dose of glam to my bedroom that I’ll be enjoyed all winter long and beyond.
