Revival Rugs Just Launched a New Collection Made from Recycled Jeans
Revival Rugs is known for its stylish, unique rugs. The brand’s latest move? Turning leftover denim into well-designed decor. It may sound odd, but the results are beautiful.
Deemed the Denim Collection, the brand’s latest eco-conscious line debuted March 31 leading up to April’s Earth Month. Here, you’ll find six super unique new rug styles, all made from recycled jeans — and named after them, too. There’s the handwoven flat-weave “Bootcut,” for example, along with the cool geometric “Wrangler” and the striped “Strauss.” Aside from the runners, each comes in a handful of size options, with every 5-by-8-foot rug using 10 to 12 pairs of salvaged pants.
As you might have guessed, given their type of textile, the entire Denim Collection is also machine washable. You can toss every dark-hued rug or runner in the washer, tasseled trim and all, then let them air dry. Even better, this marks one of Revival Rugs’ most budget-friendly lines ever, with prices ranging from $109 to $349.
The styles couldn’t look more cool and contemporary, too, like the equivalent of turning your favorite pair of worn-out Levi’s into bona fide art. You can scope out the full Denim Collection from the Revival Rugs website, but we picked out a few of our favorites below.
